Terry has spent many years working in as a nurse in the healthcare field, in areas such as hospice, psych, labor and delivery, community health, and pediatric school nursing.
She is trained in Seva soul lightening acupressure. This compassionate service was developed in 2001 after 9-11 specifically to help families and rescuers that were at ground zero. Volunteers used the 15-step protocol on these people during a time of great stress. It was developed to provide relatively fast stress response relief for the body. This technique can be done sitting or lying, and at any age. The technique uses acupressure points, which are points on the body where energy meridians lie. Many of these points are also used in Brain Gym, where a combination of points and movements can be used to decrease stress in the body.
