DEL-MKTG-1_Image10We are so excited to make this announcement, and to have partnered up with Amanda Kosanda, IBCLC, to bring this resource to Mount Horeb and the surrounding communities!

“Are you new to breastfeeding your baby and struggling with some challenges? Need a weight check or have just a few quick questions for an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC)?  Want to do a weighted feed to find out how much milk baby is getting?  A drop-in clinic is a great way to connect with professional help!  Ask IBCLC Amanda C. Kosanda your questions and meet other breastfeeding moms.  9-11 AM on the 2nd Monday of the month and 5-7 PM on the 3rd Thursday of the month. Cost is $35/session, cash or check, due at the time of the visit.  Register by emailing Amanda C. Kosanda at amanda@ABabyPlaceBBB.com.

This is a great perinatal resource to bring to Mount Horeb and the surrounding communities, as many women and babies struggle to get their breastfeeding relationship off to a good start. Getting proper assistance as soon as possible is crucial to ensuring a healthy breastfeeding/pumping journey.

Please note, these clinics are not intended for complex breastfeeding difficulties.  An in-home consultation or appointment at an outpatient center may need to be scheduled for more in-depth breastfeeding help. An evaluation at the drop-in clinic or an email to Amanda ahead of time may help determine if a longer at-home visit is necessary.
