Time of Change in September
Can you think of a more transitional month than September? It seems like it happens so quickly: back to school, summer to fall, shorter days, color changes, temps drop, outside to inside, relaxation to routine.
Change is usually good, but sometimes it comes with a price. Hectic schedules and school work loads can add extra stress. Less sunlight and fresh air can tank the immune system and our mental health. It’s important to take extra care of our health in early fall, so we don’t deplete ourselves before winter hits.
For some families, once the inaugural “Back to School” sniffles hit, it signals endless months of passing the crud around. And for some kiddos, the added stress of anxiety of school, homework, tests, making friends, sports, lessons and activities filling their schedules gives them little time to rest and recuperate.
It is vital this time of year to make sure your family’s Nervous Systems are functioning optimally, so it can handle all the stressors (even if they are good stressors!) being thrown your way.
~Getting kids (and parents too!) checked for nervous system stress is the first step
~Scheduling an effective care plan to balance the nervous system to ease through the transition
~Chiropractic adjustments help with focus & concentration; “tech-neck”; sports injuries; sports performance; emotional & mental stress; hormone balancing in puberty; digestion; immune system health; poor posture from sitting and carrying heavy backpacks; better quality sleep, and much more!
~Families who get adjusted together regularly feel more connected and grounded, and often report increased ability to handle stress, and less illness in the house.
The best time is NOW to get on a customized care schedule that works for you! Chiropractic, infrared sauna, and red light therapy are 3 powerful tools to help with the transition of seasons…and life.
We are back to Tuesdays open until 7 PM, and we will be OPEN Saturday, September 21st from 9-12.
We will be closed September 11th-14th
