Effective Tools
for Natural Healing
& Prevention
Infrared saunas in WI are an effective tool for natural healing and prevention. Infrared light has the ability to penetrate human tissue which in turn produces a host of anti-aging health benefits making infrared saunas one of the most popular therapies for overall healthier living. If you want to get yourself back into balance, an infrared sauna may be the ticket to achieving your wellness goals. Here are some of the health benefits of infrared sauna therapy:
Detoxification & Skin Purification
Sweating is the body’s safe and natural way to heal & stay healthy. Far infrared heats the body directly causing a rise in core temperature resulting in a deep, detoxifying sweat at the cellular level, where toxins reside.
Relaxation
Unlike traditional saunas which operate at extremely harsh temperatures, infrared sauna is a gentle, soothing, and therapeutic heat that promotes relaxation and improved sleep. Infrared sauna therapy helps you relax while receiving an invigorating deep tissue sweat, leaving you fully refreshed after each session.
Lower Blood Pressure
Infrared saunas induce a deep sweat to make the heart pump faster, which in turn increases blood flow, lowers blood pressure, and helps circulation. Scientific evidence shows that using an infrared sauna a couple of times a week lowers blood pressure.
Cell Health
Infrared therapy stimulates the circulatory system and more fully oxygenates the body’s cells. Better blood circulation means more toxins flow from the cellular level to the skin’s surface to improve cell health, aid in muscle recovery, and strengthen the immune system.
Weight Loss
Studies have shown that a 30-minute infrared sauna session can burn upwards of 600 calories while you relax! As the body works to cool itself, there is a substantial increase in heart rate, cardiac output, and metabolic rate, causing the body to burn more calories.
Pain Relief
Infrared heat penetrates tissue, joints, and muscles to relieve anything from minor aches and pains to chronic pain conditions such as fibromyalgia. Pain management professionals incorporate infrared heat therapy into treatment plans to decrease pain and muscle spasms and to speed up recovery time.
Improved Circulation
Heating the muscles with infrared rays produces an increase in blood flow similar to that seen during exercise. Regular infrared sauna use can significantly stimulate blood flow up to twice the normal rate.

Sauna Tips, Recommendations & Requirements
Recommended session times are 30-60 minutes, 20-35 minutes for beginners. Our sauna can fit two adults, or one person if a little more room to stretch out is desired. The sauna comes with a built-in stereo, so you can listen to the radio, CDs, or plug your MP3 player right into it. Feel free to read a book or magazine, or just sit back and relax. Our sauna also features chromotherapy, or color therapy, which is defined as a system of alternative medicine in which colors and their energy frequencies are used to correct psychological or physical imbalances. A more general definition simply states that chromotherapy is based on the premise that certain colors are infused with healing energies. Choose a color that helps you relax and unwind.
Please remove perfumes, makeup, deodorant, dirt, oils, and lotions from your body before entering the sauna. These products can block your pores and limit perspiration, decreasing the effectiveness of your sauna session. Baby wipes are available to use prior to your session to remove all makeup and mascara.
During the sauna session, we ask that guests wear a bathing suit, trunks, or sports bra, and place towels on the bench seat, backrest, and the floor to absorb perspiration and maintain the cleanliness of the sauna. Toweling off excessive perspiration throughout your session will help your body perspire more freely. To help keep our costs down, please limit your towel usage. Guests are required to bring personal bath towels to sit on and dry off with. We will provide additional towels for the floor, backrest, and face.
Make sure you are adequately hydrated before, during, and after your session. One complimentary bottle of water is provided per guest, and you may fill up that bottle when finished with your session. Guests are encouraged to bring their own personal water bottle if more hydration is required. The room is booked in one-hour time slots so that each guest has time to change and dry off after their session. The temperature of the sauna reaches 140 degrees, but there is a control on the inside for guests to decrease the temperature if necessary. If at any time you feel lightheaded, open the door or vent to quickly cool down.

Red light Therapy
Near Infrared Light
Like plants, people are designed to take in a full spectrum of light from the sun. Our modern lifestyle has removed natural exposure to sunlight and replaced it with blue-rich indoor lighting and digital screens. We can help bring ourselves back to natural order by “supplementing” our light exposure with Red and Near Infrared light wavelengths.
We are so excited to bring this ultra-healing modality to our chiropractic clinic. While our healing philosophy is deeply entrenched in the premise that chiropractic helps remove subluxations for a more balanced nervous system and therefore better functioning body, we fully understand that in today’s world, we are completely bombarded with toxins, EMF’s, chemicals, stress, and are more nutrient-depleted than ever before in history. This healing therapy is a perfect compliment to chiropractic and infrared sauna therapy, to help the body heal and detoxify.

Red Light Therapy is NOT the same thing as an infrared sauna or UV lights (tanning beds). You do not feel heat, and your skin does not get tanned or sunburned from this. The red light needs to be in close proximity to exposed skin (wearing a bathing suit) and at a direct angle in order to have the biggest impact on cellular health. Our room is set up with two panels hung on a wall, and guests can sit or stand depending on their height and the area being targeted. Best results for overall health come from the light hitting the forehead (pineal gland), sternum, solar plexus, spine and/or tibia. If using for specific healing on certain body parts, then those areas would also be highlighted.
Our office uses two GembaRed Rex NIR (near infrared) & Red LED light panels to ensure 4 targeted specific wavelengths of light for optimum health benefits.
Sessions last 10-15 minutes, and can be done daily or multiple times a week, depending on desired results. We will be booking the room every 20 minutes, to ensure guests have enough time to change after their session. Best results come from
Session Investment:
One 15 minute session= $17
3 pack= $48
5 pack= $75
10 pack= $130
Please note, these are intended for one individual at a time due to the proximity to the panels that is needed for optimal results.
